Law & Liberty is an online magazine published by Liberty Fund and committed to a society of free and responsible persons living under the rule of law.

We publish essays, book reviews, podcasts, and forum debates that elevate discourse on law, policy, political theory, economics, education, and culture, all with an eye to understanding and cultivating a free society. Though our writers usually approach these questions from classical liberal, conservative, libertarian, or centrist viewpoints, we are not guided by any specific partisan or ideological goal.

Liberty Fund is a private, non-profit educational foundation established to encourage the study of the ideal of a society of free and responsible individuals. The opinions expressed on Law & Liberty are solely those of the writers and do not reflect the opinions of Liberty Fund. The Foundation develops, supervises, and finances its own educational activities, with the goal of fostering discussion and thought on enduring topics pertaining to the creation and maintenance of a free society.
